Accidents at Work

Your employer has a duty to make sure that you are safe at work whilst you carry out your duties. There are various laws and regulations which require your employer to keep you safe and prevent accidents at work. If you are injured due to a breach of one of those laws or regulations by your employer, then you are entitled to make a claim.

Through the process of a claim we can establish exactly what went wrong and how – this is directly in the interest of any employer.

By seeking the appropriate cost for damages, including loss of earnings, the employer can then fully establish the seriousness of potential hazards in the work place and can then make a better informed decision about the correct health and safety procedures to implement.

Accident at Work Success Stories

The Claimant sustained an injury at work and instructed a local firm of Solicitors.

Regrettably those Solicitors failed to prosecute the claim promptly and after various concessions the Court ultimately struck out the case.

The Claimant then consulted Wrigley Claydon who assessed the chances of success of her original injury claim and then brought a claim against the previous Solicitors for professional negligence in failing to prosecute the claim properly against her former employers.

We succeeded on behalf of our Client and recovered compensation against her former Solicitors to a value that she should have recovered from her former employers if her case had been dealt with properly.
