Private Client Paralegal

We are currently recruiting for a Private Client Paralegal within our Private Client Team at our friendly office located in Oldham.

The role will include:-

  • All areas concerned with Wills and Probate, assisting Fee Earners with letters and telephone calls, using online portals and a case management system.
  • All areas concerned with the preparation and execution of Lasting Powers of Attorney – including preparation of documents and attending to registration with the Office of the Public Guardian.
  • All areas of Court of Protection applications for Deputyships.
  • Assisting the Partners with their caseloads as and when required.

Essentials:-

  • Previous experience of Case Management systems.
  • Some experience of client contact in person and by telephone.
  • The ability to build positive relationships and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload, good time management, organisation and admin skills.
  • Self sufficiency in typing and use of standard IT systems (Word, Excel etc).

Formal qualification is not required but the ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience and knowledge in all the above areas.

Salary dependent on experience

Support and training will be provided to enhance and develop the successful candidate’s skills as the role progresses.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a candidate who already has a background in Private Client and is capable of delivering basic Private Client services with minimal supervision.

Office Administrator - Todmorden

Duties include, reception and telephone support, office administration, archiving and banking. Candidates must have excellent organisation, communication, IT skills, client care skills, good time management and organisational skills. Secretarial skills desirable but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £18,964.00 per year

Schedule: 8 hour shift [Monday to Friday]
