Family Law Solicitor

Full- time appointment (flexible) based at our Oldham office (but with occasional travel to our Todmorden and Manchester offices).

An excellent opportunity for someone to join a busy team and to develop confidence & experience in a broad caseload of family cases (no care work or public funding).

Would suit; –

  • Someone looking to be mentored to gain confidence in dealing with financial remedy cases over time.

Solicitor, 1-5 PQE years.

Essentials

  1. A solid background in private law family work (children/finances/divorce)
  2. Excellent client care skills, good time management and organisational skills.
  3. A team player.
  4. An enthusiasm to deal with advocacy.
  5. Willingness to participate in business development opportunities.
  6. Commitment to abide by the Resolution Code of Conduct.

 

Desirable

  1. The confidence to conduct some initial court appointments.
  2. Applications from those based/with contacts in the Saddleworth area particularly welcome.
  3. Applications from men welcomed to diversify the team.
  4. Self sufficiency in typing (but secretarial support available).
  5. Commercial awareness of billing and fee collection.

Salary – market rate + performance related bonus + referral rewards.

Residential Property Paralegal

Duties may include, dependent on experience:

Full-time appointment based at our Oldham/Manchester office.

Solicitor, probably 5+ years post qualification.

Essentials

  1. A solid background in commercial conveyancing
  2. Ability to run all aspects of commercial conveyancing from start to finish without supervision.
  3. Good communication, organisational, time management and excellent client care skills.
  4. Interest in business development and generating new business (in particular developing a client base at our Spinningfields Manchester office).
  5. Proven track record.
  6. Team player.

Desirable

  1. Knowledge of other commercial areas of law e.g. employment, corporate, commercial contract and/or an interest in developing those skills.
  2. Own following.
