{"id":19606,"date":"2023-07-29T14:21:26","date_gmt":"2023-07-29T14:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.wrigleyclaydon.com\/?p=19606"},"modified":"2023-08-09T14:21:50","modified_gmt":"2023-08-09T14:21:50","slug":"three-brothers-win-court-battle-with-tennis-coach-sister-over-mothers-1m-will","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wrigleyclaydon.com\/?p=19606","title":{"rendered":"Three brothers win court battle with tennis coach sister over mother&#8217;s \u00a31m will"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Three brothers, David, Nino and Remo Rea have succeeded at the High Court in a claim against their sister, Rita Rea when the brothers were cut out of their mother&#8217;s will.<\/p>\n<p>Their mother Anna left nearly all her estate, totalling circa \u00a31m to her daughter in 2016, however, the Judge said the evidence suggested Rita had exercised &#8216;undue influence&#8217; over her \u00a0mother such that she was &#8216;overborne&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;First, there is Anna&#8217;s frailty and vulnerability,&#8217; he said in his judgment. &#8216;Wheelchair-bound, hard of hearing, and requiring constant care and attention, Anna&#8217;s quality of life was limited.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;She seemed to spend much of her life colouring in children&#8217;s books.
