Wrigley Claydon are pleased to announce that Rhona Royle (Head of Family) and Sadia Rahman (Head of Conveyancing) have joined the Partnership.
Both have overseen the growth and development of their respective departments, enhancing the Firms reputation in the fields of Family and Property Law at the Firms Manchester, Oldham and Todmorden offices.
This increases the number of Partners within the Firm from 4 to 6.

A community food scheme in Todmorden where fruit and vegetables are grown in public places across the town for the town’s residents to pick and eat has inspired a global movement of growers.
Incredible Edible Todmorden have had gardeners take over unused or unattractive bits of public land to plant food to feed the community. It now has approximately 70 sites around the town, from vegetable patches outside the police station to herb planters at the train station.
The word spread through media coverage and there are now as many as 500 community food growing groups across the world using the Incredible Edible name.
In France, the movement is called as Les Incroyables Comestibles, with 300 groups around the country. There are sister groups in Israel, Palestine, Colombia and Brazil – all growing food to share with others.
During a visit to Todmorden by Prince Charles in 2010 the Prince said: “The Incredible Edible Todmorden initiative is inspiring. I am thrilled that the Start tour has highlighted it as a shining example of how individuals in communities can support one another to live more sustainable lives.”

Make a Will
Quite worryingly nearly two thirds of adults in the UK do not have an up-to-date Will. By planning ahead, you can ensure that you do not cause unnecessary difficulties for your loved ones. Without a Will, the law decides who will be entitled to a share of your estate, so ensure that 2020 is the year you get your affairs in order.
Put in Place a Lasting Power of Attorney
A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document, granting to a named person or persons authority to act on your behalf even if you become mentally incapable. It is unpleasant to contemplate that you may ever lose the ability to manage your own affairs. However, by signing an LPA, you can ensure that if this should ever happen, your affairs will be looked after by someone you have personally chosen who you trust.
Resolve your Disputes
Start the year by resolving any disputes you may be involved in, be they with family, another individual or a commercial organisation. It is a well-known fact that singing helps many people with dementia.
It is not only helpful for people with dementia but generally boosts and improves mental well-being. At this time of year there are many opportunities to have a good old-fashioned sing song .
Oldham Metro are this Saturday holding their annual carol concert at the Parish Church of St James Barry Street Derker at 6:30 PM. All money raised will go to the Rainbow Trust, a charity supporting families with a seriously ill child .
This Friday we will be taking part in the World’s Biggest #CoffeeMorning on behalf of @macmillancancer

This Sunday marks 100 years since the end of the First World War.
Next week we are participating in Dr Kershaw’s will week where in return for a donation to the hospice ( £100 for an individual, £150 for a couple) we will provide clients with a free will.
