    It has been reported that Kim Kardashian West is considering divorcing her rapper husband Kanye West after her two-and- a-half- year marriage after feeling “trapped” in her relationship.

    Recent traumatic events are thought to have taken their toll on the marriage which saw Kim Kardashian gagged, bound and held at gunpoint during a robbery in Paris and Kanye West being admitted to a Neuropsychiatric ward in November after displaying paranoid behavior.

    The couple have two children together.

    A financier’s widow who is battling her stepdaughter over his £18million estate has denied claims she ‘bullied and dominated’ her frail husband.

    Richard Thornton died in 2013 leaving half his estate to his wife Susie.

    The other half of the estate went into a trust for the rest of his family, including his three adult children and his grandchildren.

    However, the daughter, Lucy Torrington has made an application to the High Court to have the will overturned to remove her step-mother as an executor of the will, with a ‘life interest’ in the half of the fortune she didn’t inherit.

    She claims her step-mother ‘unduly influenced’ her father and that he did not ‘know or understand’ the contents of his will.

    A tape recording of Susie saying of her step-daughters: ‘They’ve done nothing but cause you pain all their lives and they’ve made messes of their own lives’.

    For Lucy, the will meant that she was ‘unlikely to receive his bounty until after Susie’s death’.

    Lawyers for Susie argued that Mr Thornton’s mind was still sharp and clear at the time of making the will and the idea that he was ‘bullied’ into signing it by his wife was ‘fanciful’.

    The High Court hearing continues.

  • Robbie Williams and Jimmy Page locked in planning application neighbour dispute

    Robbie Williams, the former Take That singer is in dispute with rock and roll legend neighbour Jimmy Page after the Led Zeppelin founder objected to William’s plans over fears it could damage his nearby Grade-I listed home.

    Williams bought the £17million property from the family of late film director Michael Winner in December 2013, but has spent much of the last three years renovating the building.

    Williams has already had problems with the property including issues about planning and complaints from neighbours over the building works.

    Page twice complained about the scale of the renovations, calling the application architecturally ‘unfortunate’, and said they could seriously damage his home, which was built in 1781.

    Williams then claimed his neighbour was acting as though he were mentally ill and accused Page of making secret recordings outside his house.

    He also claimed that former bandmate Gary Barlow is also in dispute with his neighbour, Queen guitarist Brian May, 69.

    Earlier this year William’s upset Michael Winner’s widow after he knocked down beloved old trees planted by the famous film director.

  • Divorce solicitors finalise Johnny Depp’s divorce from Amber Heard

    Actor Johnny Depp and actress Amber Heard divorced in July this year after a turbulent 15 months of marriage.

    The actors met on the set whilst filming The Rum Diaries in 2102, the same year he and his long-term partner singer/actress Vanessa Paradis split after 14 years together.

    Johnny Depp is worth an estimated £320 million while Amber Heard is believed to be worth £7 million.

    Amber filed for divorce from Depp after a violent argument. She later obtained a temporary restraining order against him after she claimed that he was “verbally and physically abusive to me”.

    Amber was awarded £5 million when the divorce was settled in August, all of which she gave away to charity, splitting it between a children’s hospital and an organisation which helps victims of domestic.

    Will and probate dispute for Sir George Martin’s children

    Beatles producer Sir George Martin left an estate worth more than £1million but failed to leave anything to his eldest son Greg following a rift.

    Sir George, often described as ‘The Fifth Beatle’, died in March aged 90 and left a £1million estate in his will, with the majority of it being left to his second wife Judy.

    He specified that an amount small enough to avoid UK inheritance tax should be shared between seven people, including his daughter Alexis – from his first marriage and three of his grandchildren. His former chauffeur, his secretary, and a niece are also recipients.

    At the heart are the terms of the will and the fact he left a small share to Alexis, nothing to Greg and much of the rest of the estate to his ‘second family’, from his second marriage.

    Alexis has previously spoken out over her upset at the division of the will, even emailing Sir George’s other children Giles and Lucie to bemoan the ‘pittance’ she received.

    Lucie replied that there was a gulf between Alexis’s perception of her father’s wealth and the reality. And that has been the sisters’ last contact.

  • Divorce settlement for David Walliams

    Comedian David Walliams and his ex-wife, model Lara Stone have settled a High Court dispute over their £19million fortune. David Walliams was worth £16.3m and his wife £2.6m.

    The pair’s five-year marriage came to an end in September 2015.

    After private talks on the second day of the dispute at the High Court, Mr Walliams said he was pleased to announce that they had reached agreement.

    Family Division Judge Mr. Justice Macdonald said in these ‘difficult and emotional circumstances’ it was far better for them to reach agreement than him imposing an order on them.

    The parties also had signed a confidentiality agreement to prevent any details of the settlement being made public.

  • Cheryl Fernandez-Versini granted a divorce in only 14 seconds

    Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was granted a divorce in only 14 seconds after she blamed her second husband’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’.

    The former Girls Aloud star was handed a decree nisi ending her marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini at the Central Family Court in London.

    The couple, who did not appear in court, split at the end of 2015 after less than 18 months of marriage. It is understood they had signed a pre-nuptial agreement, meaning Mr Fernandez-Versini walked away with none of Cheryl’s estimated £20million fortune. Both parties also signed a confidentiality agreement, preventing either from talking about their time together or of their split.

    The divorce will allow Cheryl to change her name and focus on her relationship with One Direction’s Liam Payne, who she is rumoured to be expecting a child with.

    Civil litigation neighbour dispute

    A couple in Market Weighton have spent tens of thousands of pounds in a row with neighbours over a hedge say they’re prepared to go to jail to prove it belongs to them.

    In 2012 when Steve and Sandra Marshall discovered a hole had been cut from the middle of the bushes.

    Their next-door neighbours say that they own the shrub – which sits between the two properties and that they should be allowed to trim it.

    The Marshalls insist the shrub is theirs and state that they have accumulated £56,000 of unpaid fees on top of the £15,000 they have already paid.

    Judges have already ruled that the hedge lies on the neighbours’ side of the boundary. The Marshalls have been told they cannot cut the bush and must let someone onto their property to trim it instead.

    However, the Marshalls have refused permission onto their land. They are now risking a fine or a prison sentence after they turned surveyors away, as they are now in breach of an injunction.

    Churchill Insurance, who are the next door neighbours’ insurers, and who will have been funding the neighbours’ claim, has declined to comment.

  • Jolie/Pitt divorce takes a turn

    Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce has taken a new turn. It has been reported Angelina and her six children were questioned by the FBI about an incident in September 2016 in which Brad allegedly got drunk and physical with son Maddox, 15.

    The news comes after a further report that the Department of Child and Family Services is investigating “other incidents” that were witnessed by their children — Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.

    Two supervised meetings have taken place with Brad and the children, but one was cut short due to Maddox not wanting to be there.

    Along with the questioning and supervised meetings, Brad has also reportedly taken two drug tests, which came back clean, as part of the temporary custody agreement.
