Probate
The time following the death of a loved one can be stressful. Unfortunately, just because you
are next of kin does not necessarily mean that you are entitled to receive all of the assets whether
or not there is a Will.
If there is a Will, you may need to apply for a grant of Probate in order to arrange the repayment or transfer of assets. If there is no Will, you may need to obtain a Grant of Letters of Administration for the the same reasons.
We have experienced specialist staff who are willing and able to help you.
If we can assist you in any way regarding the Administration of Estates then please do not hesitate
to contact our Probate Department on 0161 624 6811.
Typical cases include:
- Obtaining a Grant of Probate where there is a Will.
- Obtaining a Grant of Letters of Administration where there is no Will.
- Preparing a Deed of Variation to alter the terms of the Will or to alter the
intestacy provisions
