Paul Vincent - Senior Partner
Paul is head of the Company and Commercial Department and senior partner of the firm.
Paul specialises in all aspects of corporate work including takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and corporate finance. Intellectual property matters, partnership law and company disputes all come into Paul's brief.
Through his high profile work in the area, he has become knowledgeable on the requirements of local businesses and well known and respected in the area.

Paul’s hobbies include; golf, travel, DIY and family life. Paul is also a member of the Oldham Rotary Club.

John Porter - Partner
John heads our Employment Law unit and has acted in many high profile disputes. In addition, he has acted for many private and social landlords, advising on housing/landlord and tenant matters and acts in business sales, commercial and investment property transactions and lettings, as well as residential estate development, and off shore property developments.

John is married with two young children, leaving little time for anything else!

John Pierce - Consultant
John was, until 1997, Chief Executive of Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council, having previously specialised in town and country planning.
As a result of this experience, he has built up many contacts in the public sector and is an expert on planning issues and local authority procedures.

Julian Smith - Consultant & Notary

Julian has a vast experience in Commercial Property and General Commercial Licensing work. He is a local man and is the town's only Notary Public.

Gary Burns - Associate Solicitor
Gary can help with all aspects of commercial property issues including commercial leases, business sales and estate development. He also represents employees and companies in the Employment Tribunal.

Gary was born and bred in Oldham, and attended the local sixth form college, before joining the firm when he qualified as a solicitor.

David Swarbrick - Consultant
David is a specialist in computer, Internet and IT related matters and general commercial work.
